This is my version of something I read many years ago,and reflects my feeling about being in love.
When I say “I love you”, much more is intended than simple those spoken words; I’m saying I have no reservations in this relationship and if necessity deems it so I will bend in my values because I want to be all you need.
I will lay naked with you if that is one of your needs cuddling closely, lying in your arms just as we’ve done before. You may not want to discuss the situation you’re dealing with at the moment; I understand and won‘t pressure you.But I’d just want to remind you that people are sometimes inconsistent and inconsistency is short-lived.
If we are apart and you are lonely I will do whatever is needed to physically get to you. If you have the need to talk I will avail myself and be there to listen to every word flowing from your lips.
If on the other hand you simply need some one to talk to you I will be there to deliver. If you need to be touched I want to be the one who touches you with a gentleness only intended for you and your body.
Whatever your needs are I will be there to fulfill them because you have done that for me and I love you. I want to give you all the love I have, but can only give as much as you will allow me.
There may also be times when we are together and I become silent but reach over and touch you. When that happens simply know my heart is speaking thousands of words. When I kiss you softly without whispering any words at all know that I’m saying “I Love You” more times than you’ll ever know.
This is beautiful..."If we are apart and you are lonely I will do whatever is needed to physically get to you." That is a powerful statement. Wish I had taken that step.
