Today I saw what scared a man,

Today I saw what scared a man, a payment that secured a home.
I saw for once a man’s worth defined
as only a monetary moment.

Yet I also found a power that shone.
When a woman could rescue the moment,
and pay the errant monetary deficit
with money earned with daily toil.

Did this cause the man to become
less of a man and dependent somehow?
One would hope that it would instead
be a demonstration of a friends true caring!

Still I wonder what reparations are needed
to repair an ego fraught with guilt?
I cannot help but be aware
that once a man stole my life and money.

A different man that is to be sure,
but, I have learned I am unable to see
when someone is there for me or my worth
What do I do, what must I be able to see?

I am confused, I am so scared, am I again unaware,
of predators who may be lurking, of slackers who
may be consciously shirking? God I am so scared.
Grant me a wisdom in this situation.

Please give me wisdom dear Lord, and patience to see,
the reality that is in front of me.
Give me strength to wait and find what’s true
to find the reality of love and its trail.

I request an intervention from Gods angels
to come into my decision making and life choices
grant me wisdom and strength of character
to overcome that which is false or temporary.

If It is meant to be dear Lord.
give him the means to have some security Dear Lord
We have agreed to pray for this end Dear Lord.
So give us answers that make sense to us.
