The table is laden with tastes to partake
The dishes sparkle with anticipations allure
Awaiting the glut of variety and sweetness
Each one to eat from the broad table of life
A plate full of goodness, a plate full of spice
The appetites whetted for rich, long, debate
To join in discussion of new politics
To argue the pros and the cons of a thought
To find if another is friend or is foe
In an interesting game of a tug and a push
Are you here? Are you there? Why are you like that?
A full plate of ideas is what I serve daily
