He came with guileless goals to seek
No plan to gain or idea’s thought
Instead an open mind and heart
An innocence and acceptance brought
He allowed the stranger in his life
Willingness without restraint
Rejoicing in his special gift
He gave no thought of future hurt
The stranger was at once surprised
And honored at the trust displayed
Both now walk in sun’s warm rays
Together, as one, together in love.
