This is a fourteen line poem that uses repetion in every stanza. HOpe you enjoy these!

1

African Queen, Proud and Strong.
Elegant and Oh so beautiful!
Natural ability and grace under fire.
She's royalty, and on the throne.

Elegant and Oh so beautiful!
She stands with african jewelry draped around her royal neck like it is gold.
Her chocolate skin is glistening with simplicity.
Her eyes shows the world she indeed is classy like Queen Nefertiti.

She stands with african jewelry draped around her royal neck like it is gold.
She is awaiting her royal family right there on the throne.
She sparkles like shiny white diamonds in a store.
Whether she's dark ebony or light bronze, she is captivating like a star in the night sky.

She is awaiting her royal family right there on the throne.
She opens her arms like a branch tree.
Seh gives her heart to her siblings freely.
African Queen, Proud and Strong.

2

The congo.
Drums abeating in the distance.
Fire of earth exploding.
Sounds of the awakening earth forevermore.

Drums abeating in the distance.
It is the sound of the people risin'
It is the sound of the people creatin'
The congo is thriving, pulsating and alive.

It is the sound of the people risin'
Momma's planting tomato seeds in the brown earth.
Children are running all around.
Father's on the fields plucking corn and potatoes for our evening dinner.

Momma's planting tomato seeds in the brown earth.
Drums abeating in the distance.
Fire of earth exploding.
The congo.

Sunrise of Thought by Bruce Humphrey

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
