Written for my son because he loves dragons and fantasy almost as much as I do.
The Dragon Breath of fire and deepest heat, hide yourself in forest deep. Flee the mighty Dragon's wrath, destruction in the Dragon's path. Listen to the legend told_ Knights of old with swords drawn high, tried to pierce the Dragon's hide. Many perished on that day. The others fled without delay. The Dragon won the battle fought, but it was only peace the Dragon sought. Only one small boy stood his ground, singing with a joyful sound. Saving all by making friends with the Dragon in the end. � Elizabeth Melton Parsons
