I know you know what greatness I see and feel in a garden, not so much a garden planted by others as a garden planted and tended by me as God does his magic with vines and leaves and colorful and scented blooms. "It's wondrous the joy I feel when in my secret garden," you say. O, I share the feeling. And the "secret" of the secret garden isn't that it's hidden; it's the secret pleasure that's all our own. As you so elequently phrase it: "Contentment settles like a cape upon my happy soul."
A quiet place in a park is renewing to the soul. But I would wish all could enjoy the pleasure under "the arch with Honeysuckle blooming" and the "peaceful bliss" of dreaming "morning dreams."
