When losing is Winning

Is there something in your past, that affects your life today?
Someone you'd like to get even with, or harm in some way.

Even if the truth is in your corner, and legally you could win
The chances that you'll find real relief, are very very slim.

For if you the claim the Lord, as your protector and your shield,
then to His mercy and His will, you should ultimately yield.

For winning thru the courts, may bring you some short time relief
But in your spiritual walk, turning to the world, will bring nothing but grief

For in His Word He tells us, not to go to man, when trouble ensues
But rather do what His Word directs, and with His heart, to choose.

Turn the other cheek, put love over gain,
and let the Lord of the universe, in your life reign

He will vindicate, replace, what was stolen, or lost
For, the things that remain, will more than offset, any perceived, cost.

Choose His way, let, fear, worry, doubt, and self-protection, sway you, NOT
He will go before you, for with His own life, yours, He has bought.

And even if things, seem as though, you, will, lose
Heaven and eternal life, await those, who, His loving way, elect to go
and righteousness, over being right, faithfully, choose.

My soul melts from heaviness; Strengthen me according
to your Word. Remove from me the way of lying, And
