As I grow older, I and my friends speak About how Time doesn't wait for anyone, But flies faster than a rabbit On rocket skates.
Maybe so, but It still takes 60 seconds To make a minute And five dozen of each of those To put an hour together.
Perhaps instead of Looking ahead to the finish Or fretting about How you’ve run the race to date, Try to feel each step As you’ve taken it And enjoy the scenery Along the way.
When it comes down to it, The only prize that matters In the human race Is the satisfaction of a good life Worth jumping for joy By all who witness it.
