Inspired by Guardian Angel Write Me a Poem Write me a poem Made of quarter notes Dancing on a treble cleft, And I�ll sing you a song Of simple words In a tune with A key of rhyme. Read me a sonnet in Four-four time While enjoying A quarter rest; I�ll play you a Free-verse lullaby At sleepy-head Night-night time. I�ll savor The sweet poetry Found always in Your song; You can enjoy The harmony My verses sing along. Our sweet communion Fills my soul with Peaceful joy and love And lifts me from The mundane depths To serenity above. � 2008 by Robert E. Blackwell
