Days passed without care
Until wrinkles around the eyes,
Being on the wrong side of half-life;
Turns All reflective.
Pleasures foresworn aching,
Almost as bad as Pleasures grasped;
When the time was wrong.
The Childhood Sweetheart,
Who first seized your love;
Still will make you curse,
For lack of access to their pants.
Others came later,
Sometimes One of You were married;
It making no sense now!
I apologize in advance to all who would think this purient. Truth be told, it be simply an tool to signify all lost moment.
