A finger tracing
along the arc
of your back
Lips pressed
upon your forehead
The blank stare
that becomes
a soul search
of blind emotion
twisting within veins,
carrying memories
into the outtakes
of the last night on earth,
laying her head
upon your pillow
clutched to your waist
before you begin
to dream again.

Another excellent poem by the one I've read by the same poet. I especially like the minimilism...it adds to the power of the sensual.
