We’ve made it past the terrible tenth, the one that most folks don’t. When I look back through those years, you’ve taken what most folks won’t!
We’re less than friends but more than partners, an odd couple we make. Still, this is love both bitter and sweet and that I can not fake.
The fruit of our union is what binds us one to the other tight. I hope you know it’s more than this that comforts me at night.
Rare are you amongst all women to love a man like me. It’s a gift that I don’t deserve but it’s not a wasted gift you see.
For no matter what the future holds, for better or for worse, it’s you who will be held in my heart as the one who gave my life worth.
With love at Christmas,
Your humble husband.
