It takes not but a moment to say I love you,
The hesitation in my voice is just my nerve racking fear,
Fear my emotions will not be returned,
Or even my heart shattered,
The hesitation is just my sheer protection,
The moments left to linger,
You speak with confidence,
As if this were easy,
No hesitation from you Sarah,
Unless it is for “effect”,
These verses I write for you,
I hope will one day reach you,
With no hesitation on paper,
It is easier to speak through the writings.
