No, I am not a scientist, and scientists are not God. They know a lot, but much of what they portray as facts are theories. I am not a theologian either, and do not have the mental faculties to debate on science vs theology. I can refer you to men like Ravi Zachariah and others, who could make you choke on your strong-held beliefs. Meanwhile, I hold fast to my childlike faith.
A little child doesn't let the scientists decide.
Their foolish theories matter not;
He knows the truth inside!
He sees the wonders of the earth --
The grass . . . the sea . . . the sky.
It all makes sense as he believes
That God's the reason why.
It's only as we grow in age
And leave the days of youth

It is certainly time we grew up and assumed responsibility for what we are doing to our home, our earth. So many rely on their childhood faith to explain things, saying that they will just do nothing and let God do what is prophecied. In other words, let our parents take the blame for our behavior. Convenient, but does not solve our problems that will take the best science there is, theory or not, to overcome our excess often justified as required by our faith.
When God was in schools there were no shootings, but when America took God away from school, the shootings began. The children need to be protected by God.
As for myself....in the debate of science vs. theology....And as I have said to many people, including my pastors....The message of God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit is very simple....Why do people try to turn that simple message into "rocket science" when it's very easy to understand.
