I asked a friend who loves the Lord
What gives her strength every day!
"When trials come," she answered me,
"I think of my Savior and say,"
"My God has this!"
When in pain and sorrow crying,
Held in bonds of doubt and fear,
Heartfelt questions then I ask Him --
"Jesus, Savior, are You here?"

He's my King! ~ He's in control!
When I'm yearning for solutions,
Answers for my deepest need;
When the stress seems never-ending,
Trusting, to my Lord I plead

When at times He seems far away,
His voice so silent and still,

If I may, I would like to borrow a quote from Diana, “Faith such as this is so heartwarming.” Karen certainly set an example for others to follow in that she put her life in the hands of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And when one does this, there is almost inexplicable joy and peace in one’s heart and soul.
