I am about as frustrated with this poem editor as I can be. I have tried everything to get all the lines the same size. I have NO idea what has gone on with this thing since I was last here. Sorry if it looks weird, not my fault.
Time was never your ally.
Not when hairs turned grey or bones twisted.
Not as winter smothered you in your sleep,
or the blackness in the closet moved.
It never coveted your spilled blood from the song spigot on the radio,
nor kept you from one more defiant step backward.
Time was the thief that wrenched the only tear you had left behind those isolated daggers, you
call eyes. The wait to expel, to long.
He tried a stand beside you despite the singeing spit- fire cover you wear like gold.
Even shiny presents or cloaks of sparkle cannot retrieve that which you have wasted.
I came back in to re read my old stuff I left behind. I need to say a lot of comments are made about the font size. When I posted all of these and the other 75 I removed, I chose large medium font.
I didn't cause these words to appear like scared ants. It simple appeared that way. Not within my control. I tried over and over to correct it, and contacted Authers Den about H the problem.
It's one of the reasons I left. I don't know what what else to do. If they can't create a font in MY editor that works, then it hurts my reading and it keeps people from returning to my writing.
After all, you can't enjoy what is meant to live in print first and in heart and mind later.
I'm sorry, it's simply something I have no control over, leaving me very unhappy because I can't use this medium. It's a shame really. I thought I was going to stay after I left.
I miss you all. Sorry u have to probably to use a mag light just to read this. I'm tying it and I can hardly see a single word of it. Thank goodness for whoever created auto spell check, eh?
I agree with George... damn good writing. Something you may take a look at is the font size you used. It may not accomodate the space needed for each line. That and 25 cent coffee won't get you far.

Intrnse writing makes a powerful poem with words that ignite!Good one KM...The editor is an enemy, I hate it! As for lines ,if you want to space up or down, hold the shift key and it will line up.
