Two frogs on a pad

Lonely times they'd had

A lesson in appreciation,  though some may call it sad

 


Alone,  adrift,  blurred by mist

Unaware of what was missed

Nature turns it's fickle head and offers up a kiss

 

The time had come for dee and dum

to find the whole greater than the sum

The picture clears just a bit,  to reveal a subtle form

 

Wide eyes,  mumbles,  a little fear

From behind,  a jester with a mirror

Reveals a new perspective,  the tension leaves the air

 

Closed eyes,  giggles,  sighs of relief

Pale moon lights suspension of disbelief
