Mankind devoured by its own marvelous mechanisms turned cannibal. Waking, return to morning, is rebirth from jaws of gigantic staplers, and as I descend from my human hive, snugly clutched in oily-warm embrace of gently purring elevator, back in my room: the window shade snickers, the doorknob chuckles, and the clock laughs so hard it falls off of the shelf.
