Love you all—but the phone’s turned off!

You call me so much--
You types with much chat!
I tell you I’m busy--
But you’re like a cat,

That just won’t play nice!
You know you don’t quit--
On, on and on, you go;
With interesting tidbits…

Of course hot air too,
That makes me go ‘spin’!
And when I don’t answer--
You call me again!

Now you know I love--
You more than my life;
So don’t get uptight--
‘Cause you know I’m right...

But hear what I say,
All those who want time…
These 12 hour workdays--
Have kicked my behind!

And I need some quiet
To do things that free;
Like spend time with Charles,
And soak up these feet!

So give me that space,
To improve and regroup;
Else you’ll get the word--
Wendi’s done flown the coop!

But when I return,
From recharge and relax,
I’ll be phone ready,
To hear all your facts.

We’ll laugh once again,
Chew fat and kick back.
I’ll spin you some verse,
That’ll make you go ‘crack’

And bring you joy too;
For you know how we work--
When we see it spaced out
In small, written verse--

That circumstance that seemed
So somber, so tart;
Strikes laughter so hard
We cry out and fart!
