it must have been interesting being the only white kid among the yupi'k eskimos. i know how you feel; at work, i feel like at times i am the only white one among a sea of non-english speaking mexicans (although i know that isn't exactly true; still, most of the back of the house help ARE mexican, and they don't speak english; it makes for a very frustrating time for me!!). good write, anyway!! :)

I like this poem, although the words in it don't exactly rhyme.
