Visions of gold, Colored leaves crisp and bold. Visions of golden light, A harvest moon on a front porch night. Visions of acorns falling from trees so tall, Squirrels collecting and hoarding them all. Visions of pumpkins on the vine, Ready to pick come harvest time. Visions of that golden day, When Autumn is here to stay.

Beautifully worded. But every poem like this reminds me of the autumn I never see here in Southeast Texas where everything goes rather bland into a dull winter occasionally punctuated with freezing excitement, and then spring dragging along until it magically becomes a hot, hot summer.
