Some trees are embraced for the fruit that they bear, others are exalted for wood that they share.Trees branches flow freely and drift with the wind, offering home for a bird.....as well as shade for a friend. The leaves of a tree change colors with time, from yellow....to red......and back to green in their prime. The roots of a tree grow beneath our feet, existing through freezing....as well as fiery heat. The tree endures more than machine and man,for through decades of chopping the tree shall still stand. It is hard to deny the trees dynamic grace, for its image is beauty...but its size demands a place. The trees dominance is like that of a man,as through the storms...they both still stand. They each carry a reason...or a season through Gods plan, but the days have been numbered..... for our tree.....and for our man.The tree sheds memories as he drops his leaves to the ground, for fall creates a new era..... a new look.....a new sound. The man pronounces memories through his labor and deeds, all expressed through the family that he teaches and feeds. His pride is nourished throughout his kin,as your family is the token of where your going.....and where you’ve been.He holds tight to his kids....so they do not fall,he instills grace in his daughter.....and insists that his son stands tall.A man realizes that the greatest values are free, because to him nothing is more golden....than his family tree.Franks family tree is the product of his life long dream, for he left behind a circle...an army....a team.Though we mourn Franks departure.....we must embrace his last gift, the gift of one another....to turn to....and uplift.Although Frank bid farewell.... he lives on through you and me,for through his heart we can feel...and through his eyes we can see.To say his last good-bye Frank did his best,as his last days were signs....that he was ready to rest. His works were complete by the time Jesus came, but he left behind many....to carry on his name.Though mourning will last for quite a while,Jerry will find strength in remembering her dads smile.God has a way of drying our tears, therefore Buddy will be comforted....as he remembers the years.Eugene can’t forget the strength of Franks clutch, and Marie will always know the gentleness of his touch.Mammie must rejoice....although she may feel sad,for Jesus has now welcomed and embraced her dad.It does hurt, and Ralph may want to cry,but God promised to take Frank home.....and God does not lie.Frank Jr. has already found relief, in the almighty plan, for twas no mistake....but twas mercy........ when God took both their hands. He was the father of many...and a friend to all, therefore we must celebrate, and not resent the Lords call. For Frank is now at peace, and though he left us behind, the Lord will come back.....and you and I He will find.Until then Frank will wait....to see us again, but for now in Jesus.....he has found a friend. He shall look over us from the Heavens above, his spirit spreading concern....and his memory spreading love.Since he is free now....we all must know, that although we shall miss him.....we must let him go.Frank gave our world energy for ninety one years, and for that we must rejoice......and dry our tears. For the events in his life....Frank always had a story to tell, therefore we must hold tight to his memories....and accept his farewell. He left his grandchildren with many of his ways,so using his wisdom is our thanks...for all of his days. His work is complete and he is where he should be,yet his pride fills the room....through his family tree.

You have a great way of saying goodbye and hello to the truth at the same time. I enjoyed your the way you compared trees with the family. I will enjoy getting to know you through your work :-)
For a time, I perched myself on a flat rock, comparing my life with the Guyandotte River. Just as its tributaries replenish it daily, changing it in some small—sometimes great—degree, so have the day-to-day occurrences of life changed me. Like the ri
