We are broke, but that's ok, for we have love, the one thing in life no one can take away

We have precious love of family, close friends too,  what more can we ask for, this is so true

Sometimes we feel so let down, but all we have to do is take a good look around

There is a roof still over our heads, food in the cupboards, freezer and fridge

Where we are headed, only God knows, but we take it one day at a time, as we head down this road

Maybe we are lucky, thats what we say, to hang on to what we have so it won't all slip away

But in stead we count our blessings each and every day, especially, as we kneel to pray.
