Forgeting who we are in a relationship....


Bleeding Hearts


Hearts beating like a drum out of control.
Raging winds tearing at my soul.

Words of impassioned, rolling thunder!
Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.

But who will heal?
No matter!
Wrathful, furious lighting clashing.

Swords striking and dust flying.
Stop! Who are you? And who am I?
What has happened?

What is this life that bleeds from me,
And why does my heart hurt so?

Feathers falling from the heavens.
Tree branches crumbling, crashes.
Dust settling….

Who are you?
I am your love!
