Why worry for things we can't change. We have to except what is to be.

                                  Worry & Trouble Free

                                       May 3, 1998

                                By Rose Marie Rideout

                            Why worry my dear friend,

                         For what tomorrow shall bring.

                              For what is shall be,

And we can't change a thing.

Why worry for things we cannot see,

                         Why trouble our weary mind.

For what's meant to be, shall be,

                           For we cannot change time.

Why keep ourselves awake at night,

Wondering why it has to be this way.

                       Why have another restless night,

                          For tomorrow is another day.

We cannot change a single thing,

                           We cannot change the time.

For tomorrow is what we make it,

We accept that in our mind.

For what shall be, shall be,

It's meant to be that way.

                         So rest with pleasant dreams,

                           For tomorrow is another day.

A great poem for calming the mind but we must raise our voices and act when we see injustice being done. Not acting can also keep us awake… or worse.
