Curse Cancer & Dementia

What is happening in the world today,
As we watch our loved ones slip away.
With Cance & Dementia, No it just isn't right,
We see them each day, go through a fight.
Why do they have to suffer, as we have to see,
With these diseases that shouldn't be.
An innocent child at the age of five,
Sould have a chance at life to thrive.
A sister, brother, Mom or Dad,
To have Dementia is oh so sad.
To watch your loved ones go through life,
Kills a brother, sister husband & wife.
We love them so much, it drains us so,
Just to know how their lives will go.
A little child who doesn't understand,
What is happening to him is so bland.
A sister once had so much love for others,
Can hardly recognize friends, sisters or brothers.
I find myself questioning to the Man up above,
Why is this happening to your children you love..
I really wish I could understand why,
As I watch my loved ones and cry.
It tears so much at our heart,
To know that one day they must part.

Modern medicine is doing wonders, so I hope that the doctors will be able to cure your grandson of that terrible cancer.
Our lifestyles often predict what will happen as we age… especially cancer. And every one of us has a little bit of dementia as we near the end of life.
In our whole family, only my grandmother Hull, who read thousands of books and at 85 years of age at her party could keep up with three or four conversations – soon after developed Alzheimer's.
