it has been raining
it has been raining for too long
and we bathe in sorrow
still able to see the refraction of light
drop after drop
after drop
a Language
mauve movement color wave
sweet violence of purple sound
ultra-violet, beyond the spectrum
of human emotions that we feel
not anesthetized by the esthetics
of the androgynous dream
We have been writing
struggling for the right
of the primeval word on wet paper
on torn flesh, tears that carry away
the ink of fading words
/
We are resistance fighters
redeeming signs
of nearly erased memory
that we have been recreating
a Link
where many lost their sense
of being one with meaning
blank as the emptied sky
as the wiped-out conscience
at the dead end of time
/
it has been raining
with windscreen wipers
and frenetic swords
the words have fallen
backwards
in Need
of holy sentiment
we cry them back
into the spring where they belong
written, spoken, re-written
the old syntax making sense.

And this creator said-- let there be a poem. And there was a poem. And it was good. --ChARliE

Cheers,
Dan
highly appropriate for International Womens Day;
'glyph' is at the root of many creative processes,
shaping materials and words, bringing ideas to
- the favourite of the Art critics - 'resolved works'
i especially like the call at the end
