prescription drugs, retirement benefits.

Our country is now overloaded with
poor elderly .
Is suicide an acceptable
option -- one certain way to die --
in order to keep pride, honor and dignity in their
final days.

Why? Why?
Stand up and demand fulfillment of the
commitment from your Corporation, Federal Government,
Social Security, Armed Forces responsible for the cop out.
Where do our taxes go?
What can be done to fulfill the promises, commitments
and agreements that were brainwashed into our forefathers
to save for a rainy day.
WELL, the rainy day is here and their money is NOT.

Retirement can come for reasons that are not age related. Here in the UK life can be hard for the fallen from health. Sometimes being moderately intelligent can be a burden. There is a kind of shame in knowing that where one stands is nowhere at all and that a bleak future would be something better than no future. Merry Christmas (sincerely).
I must agree with Karen on this and it is not just United States issue, in Canada we are facing many of the same problems especially the retirees and pensioners who lose medical and dental programs when ill healt force them out of the workforce regardless of the number of years they have worked and paid into system. Suicide is supposedly not an answer but when all you have is taken away because you believed in your country and your gov't suicide starts to look just a little more appealing.
