When my soul is crushed
Your grace is sufficient for me, Causing my eyes to be lifted to Thee.
You alone give the strength I need, When to no one else can I go to plead.
Authority and power in Thee alone, Is what will break down my heart of stone.
Your righteousness and truth will take a stand, And will still the storms as I take Your hand.
Your holiness and purity will come to me, And from filthy robes of self-righteousness I'll flee.
Until one day in eternity Your Face I have sought, I shall see.
Though my soul Thou does shatter When I think of Your glory, it does not matter.
All of us brothers and sisters behold What thou the Potter can only mold.
So rejoice you His saints and holy ones In what Jesus the sacrificed Lamb has done.
I will not be weary in well doing, For He will finish what He is pursuing.
For now we have come to the city of Zion, And all glory goes to the Lamb and the Lion.
