Virtue Sombre moon in mid unrest Sweet surrender sun in rise To wipe the tears of tired eyes Weep in virtue, sombre sleep Sometime in the morning shed I find myself in gentle tread Stillness in the morning brings The hand of fools, and heart of kings Meek as I am, and truly be I have come to beckon thee My heart yearns in faith I knew Beside the sea in endless blue Hew the day, in morning rise To wipe the tears from tired eyes Mid unrest amidst surprise Perhaps a chance in paradise Morning mystic mound of thunder Dwindle in this land I wonder Serpent on the sea in rise Splendid be thy sweet surprise
