Overwhelming Sense Of Feeling

I once felt safe within this world
And now it seems the tide has turned
Paranoia greets me at every turn
As my heart beings to churn

How I sense, my sense of fear
And wish it would just disappear
Depression comes in countless waves
Beneath the sky in cloudy rays

I feel the world closing in
As I tremble deep within
As I feel my heart is racing
Increasingly it seems I’m pacing

Home has become my sacred haven
As the world around me is changing
Once I felt safe outside
Now I seem to run and hide

Overwhelming sense of feeling
Scared am I, within the attitude
The world around me gathers in
As I am caught, among the paranoia deep within
