Tidal sediment upon the sands
Blue ocean swells from the sea
My withered bones and brittle hands
Where are the feelings, which reside in me
Brazen be thy eyes which I cast upon the sky
And hung beside the palettes blue, in mid unrest
Thy own heart that knows best, and hang my head upon high
And feel the breath that lifts my chest
Less I was the miller’s swoon, and then lift my spoken word
To tell the tale of rustic ways, among the sun in hue
To say it with an ounce of truth, as wisdom seldom heard
What unjust and earthy rule could mar the heavens blue
Deem it were my treaty pulse, and my earthly nature
Then to give myself upon my heart, to thee my hobble saviour
