The solitary beat of my heart beating
The raise and fall of my chest
With anticipation, I await our first meeting
To ebb in your beauty, and take in your breath
Scared hearts are hard to find
But you are cherished, in this heart of mine
To ebb the essence from my heart
And give to thee each and every whisper it imparts
In the cool misty morning rain
It is you I can't explain
Like a river sweeping through me
You are all that is wholesome to me
Beautiful rhythm, ebb my heart
Thou are living in my heart
Like the stars in sombre hue
There is the gift of knowing you
Heavenly angel, tender and sweet
You have moved me, with your earthly feet
