Our cruise ship was big.  Really
big.  But Alaska showed she
was in charge.  She rose above
in majestic height over
our heads.  Humbled by greatness,
we could only look up as
she passed by our balcony.

We thought the interior
of the ship was beautiful.
It was, but nothing compared
to God's display of mountain
and glacier, Northern Lights and
Autumn colors:  Alaska
painted beauty on our eyes.

We breathed her into our lungs
as she imprinted herself
on our souls.  Twin sister and
I fell in love:  something we'll
be talking about for a
long time to come as we dream
of our next Alaskan cruise ...
