.

Here I am

A little poem

Of just a few short lines

And there you are

Reading me

I thank you for your time.

I find I have no resting place

But guess it’s quite all right

In the meantime I shall wander,

See a few of the world’s great sights

Lovely peoples of every land

Highest mountains, longest rivers

I’ll say hello to every soul

And wish them well forever

I’ll then keep moving

Till I find

That proverbial resting place—

But whatever may its venue be—

I’ll belong, in my mind,

To the world and thee.

Daughter Kathy and hubby and friends from church and pastor and wife went on mission trip to New Mexico yesterday for a week. Going to build a handicapped ramp at the church. Jim afraid to fly and friend's wife afraid too. Kathy said what would she do if they both decided they were not going airborne again when had to change planes. Did no hear so guess they are there. God leads and we follow.

I think this might be the first time I've read a poem from the poem's perspective. You are so creative.

Dear Randall,

I believe that, once we've written a poem, it belongs to all who read it. Hearts reaching out to hearts ... that's what it's all about.

Love & Light always and in all ways,
Joseph*
