This poem is an excerpt from my new book entitled MEDICINE WOMEN. This particular poem was inspired by a consummate genius of song, Nyee Moses; whose awesome voice and music is truly medicine for the Soul. Her Native American designation is 'Dancing Horse'

DANCING HORSE (c)GoldenEagle 2008 Dancing Horse Dancing Horse Dance me a Rhyme. Sing me a Story Of Pictures in Time! Dancing Horse Moves Dancing Horse Grooves, Golden mane in the wind... She has nothing to loose! Each beat giving birth To many vibrations. Place your ear to the Earth Hear and feel Generations! She waltzes with leaves In the fresh morning dew Moving softly between falling raindrops, too! Drawn out of the Water Sat firm on "THE ROCK" Nyee is the Music Love is the Jock! Sparks from her fiery hooves Starry eyes flashing Love A gift of Song and Dance from Above! Young Warriors dream of the moment at hand... The Mare disappears Leaving Heart-Shaped Hoof prints In the sand!

Clever poem about Dancing Horse. I like the ending with the heart-shaped hooves in the sand.

I bet she's on hellava night mare... Love to see a horse dance, i'm sure it would be the mane attraction until they went on the hoof...
