Poem Artwork

Disappointment echoes within the emptiness I once called my soul
Your harsh gaze burns my eyes though i cannot see it
The sharpness of your words cuts to the core
My mind playing tricks as though its a jester in my court
Finding no amusement in the quiet laughter aimed so accusingly at me
Shivers of a cold felt from the Arctic winds of loneliness

Painful write but one you can only take consolation in the fact that most of us have felt this way at least once if not many times in our lifes. The good news is that it signifies you are living life to the fullest and taking the time to love even if somtimes it hurts.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
