We have all suffered from writers block at one point or another. I seem to be Suffering at the moment or am i? The emotions wont flow so i took my inspiration from my frustration of not being able to let them out.
Words yearning to break free
My mind slowly filling up
Emotions jumbled in a tangled web
Barriers holding the flood within
Twisting and turning within
Tossing ideas into the wind
Trying to grasp just a single thought
One that may be that epic write
My heart may be breaking
My soul could be unyieldingly happy
My mind torn and scattered
My dreams an empty nightmare
I cannot tell nor can i write
I have come to a dead end
A feared placed that i no longer like
A place known as writers block
It is often said, for us writers to write beyond what most call "writers block" it is necessary to write down anything at all that comes to mind...as far as I am concerned "writers block" is merely a situation where I cannot write what is in my heart but it is replaced by something I write in my mind..l.thoughts opinions etc... It seems you have created something even through this period so therefore...writers block did not block you at all. Superb work.
Been on that block. The other night, recovering from surgery. I wrote a beautiful blues song on the floor by my bed in my mind. Two great poems followed. By morning they were gone. My page has been empty since.

W feared placed tat i no longer like [is there an error in this line...? it seems a little off...?]
writers block sucks.
but it does serve us well if we allow it.
once i asked all these ppl what they did when they suffered from the inability to write and they said to write something autobiographic, to force something, to write anything [even if it was crap].
i tried those suggestions and they kinda helped but i dont think there is an answer really... i think its a vacation of the mind... i guess it works...
and sometimes writing about writers block makes the whole block move so heres hoping =)
Writer's block to me, or how I like to look at it anyway, is a temporay R & R of the imagination side of our brain. Sometimes we have to back off, relax, and re open our minds to the world and what we are not seeing so that when we do write it is natural and not forced. I think you captured that well here in this write as well.
