Just a morning musing we all hope for.

Poem Artwork

Come to me in the night,
My souls desire.
Come softly,
Gently caressing me,
With your eternal peace.

Touch me with loving hands,
Guide us toward our uninterrupted bliss.
Forever together one, as meant to be,
Spirits soaring through the heavens.

Come to me gently in the night,
Touching me with Heaven's breath.
Come gently to me in the night,
An everlasting, peaceful Death.

After reading it as a love poem, I had to start fresh and read it with a different perspective. If we know we are safe in the arms of Jesus Christ, death is welcome and the poem is beautiful and meaningful.
Be sure!

It wasn't readily apparent that this was Death approaching ... which means that you write very well :)!
Also, after having witnessed several deaths and/or their aftermaths, to go quietly in the night would be a blessing to most of us.
Write on ...

Well, I don't know what all this sadness is about but I see a man imagining his women. "Come Gently To Me" You know, instead of like a madwomen with claws and stuff... Change the spelling of a few "Comes" and you got yourself in morning bliss! ...the little death...
Is it me...? Am I that distorted? HA!
Loved it!
Love and Peace~

Time to take your muse on a bike ride.....just take care of the cops...and don't allow your morning muse to fly with those wings...she might fly away!!

Love offering...on the edge of darkness!!

There is a softness and at the same time a darkness to this piece, time to take your muse out into the sunlight...maybe to a beach

Walter Hardester,

Knowing you like I do...I know this is a poem. Just a poem. I know your demons and they aren't about to cash in. Your positive side is winning more every day. Let's keep it that way too.
Love,
Susan

Ooh, I wasn't ready for that ending my friend. Reminded me of a prayer that my grandmother prayed on her death bed...a bit scary, sad, and...well I hope all is okay! A powerful and thought provoking poem...

This saturday you are in a foul mood, maybe I should bank on your door with a case of Coors or a bottle of Captain Morgan dark rum to take away the cobwebs in you brain.
Let death alone and join the party!!!!!
Anyway, your write is cool.
Georg
