Poem Artwork

How do you fathom,
The miracle of wind?
It propels vessels,
And makes trees bend.

It can pick up things,
And move them around.
It will take a squirrel’s home,
From a tree onto the ground.

Our chimes and bells,
She makes them ring.
It seems to have an effect,
On almost everything.

Still with all the evidence,
Wrapped up neat and clean,
The wind itself.
Has never been seen.

The wind, ushering in change or perhaps love and peace. Thermals is not an intriguing name or thought, but the wind, yes the wind is compulsive. There is great depth to the concept you share here Walt.

I love the wind; it has many personalities and moods. It can be very playful, at times violent. Nicely done, Walt. Love and peace,

the wind is Heaven-Earth's breath that can be fathomed only by the weather vane; but sometimes we can apprehend it from the bottom of heart; as a rule, it occurs when our intents and behaviors start to be out of tune with the will of Heaven and Earth's patience. . . It's good that the wind has brought you here again, Walt ;)) Cheers, alex

What do u mean, Walt, that we don't see the wind...I dropped some acid once and it was then very see-able, you just go to know where to look for it...look in those sails on that vessel it propels...wish I could have written this as well as you...-e-

Great write Walter, and I agree with you: We have never seen the wind, nor have we ever seen God either, but His impact is just as formidable, shall I say even more formidable, as the wind's impact.
Thank you for sharing this thought provoking poem with us here in The Den.
Continued success-
