A whole art gallery in my soul I have, and a menagerie of artists, after eleven years that we shared life on this side of the divide, little Angelface is now there too

Poem Artwork

Angels come into my soul,
Spring from mind of being,
No death of them takes toll,
A barrel full of monkeys,
Here, then gone again,
Pooches, birds, and donkeys,

No canvas do they paint, but life,
Creatures big and small,
The universe their hive,
They stay a while in view,
And in a blink are gone,
Before I ever knew,

In my dreams they come, to say hello,
Their faces then I see,
Then fade away and go,
There, last night was Angelface,
Happily we talked,
Eternity our favourite place,

I miss her in the woods the trees,
On this side of the world,
That tiny little tease,
Yet nearer is she now then ever,
Right there in my heart she is,
She is so very clever,©16/11/2010

If it were not for angels, I would have been gone a long time ago. Thank you, Jasmin. Love and peace to you,

I think it takes an angel to recognize one. Patrick

A spontaneous recollection of a dear friend, a fragile soul of nature. The honesty of all those creatures great and small is an example that would raise mankind to another level of understanding if only we would observe and imitate. I bid you love and peace my dear friend. Jon Michael

They stay a while in view,
And in a blink are gone

So very sadly true, my friend. But thankfully, they often stay in our hearts and souls, forever.

So precious and we could learn so much from all of them...

Be always safe,

"...No canvas do they paint,"
and yet they do...across our hearts they paint love and beauty,
and they inspire us to think and feel and write.
As always, you care, Jasmin, and for that you have my blessing and admiration.

John
