This poem was written for my amazing daughter when she was 5 years old
Child of light, child of love There is no need to fear For I live on in your heart I am always here When God brought us together The sun and moon rejoiced The angels sang a song of love And heavens joy was voiced They knew they found the perfect fit A love beyond compare For I am always with you No time and space can tear It was a bond that would not break When we were joined together From now until eternity From now until forever So when you can not see me Remember I am there For I live on in your heart With love beyond compare

Beautiful poem and pick-me-up.I'm sure those are words she needed to hear. As much as we would like to protect our children from all the hurt in this world there's only so much we can do. Your support will mean the world to her. Bless You and Your Daughter. I hope everything works out fine. I like the flow and rhyme of your poem. A mother and child bond is eternal.
