What a truthfully heart wrenching write...they are all like little children...abandonded and without understanding why...I love all animals...dogs are my favorites...such a wonderful write..
At least you can save one...that's more than most will do...

Staci, this is sad & heart rendering, especially to people who love and adore animals...I can't understand how in the world anyone could be cruel to helpless critters. I love my dear Ringo like a child and can't imagine how anyone couldn't love animals because of their soul's, heart's, and their ability to understand, love, and care for their masters. A nice writing.

The sad fact of unwanted animals and breed specific buyers of animals who only one the current flavor is terrible. Puppy mills turn out these celebrity animals for the ones who can afford them and the mongrels sit in cages with love in abundance.

Yes Staci it is so hard to walk away from them as we wonder what will their future hold, tears my heart out of me. Too bad more people aren't responsible enough to have their precious pets taken care of. Thank you for sharing and for caring.

Wish we could take them and love them all

So do I, far too often; but like you, we all can try to help them - one animal at a time. And if enough people would only follow your example, we could help lots of them.

So terribly difficult to choose, but a choice must be made. I always have such an agonizing time with that and wind up bring home what is left. Very cuddly and heartwarming....

No kidding ,, I am with you,,I wish I could take everyone of them home and love them,,, very heart breaking write,,,I can hardly bear the pain to see them caged up, waiting for a home.
