Slipping Into Darkness

Streaming rain pelting down,
adding to the gloomy night,
When is it going to end,
No more sadness or fright.
Time has taken a toll,
misery comes so quickly
pain seeps into each bone,
overtaking so briskly.
Whats a body to do?
when age creeps in like a thief,
Mind can trick the pain,
but love can be the relief.
Always admire your inner beauty,
shining like a sun ray,
Let the love flow from within,
and send the pain away.
Gather strength to carry on,
Cradle yourself in angel's wings,
sheltering you from all the suffering,
and giving you the strength that it brings.
Send hope and peace and love,
to arm you further from the pain,
allow your light to shine so bright,
to keep you humbly sane.
Never falter from the darkness,
keep a close check onto your heart,
Be prepared to act upon your feelings,
and never ever shall you part.
Slipping Into Darkness (c)
unite even further and carry on our fight with terrorism
steadfastly!
Always,
Deborah
with love.
I've found that a warm body hugging one close, cures the darkness very well. ;-)
