Weeding Our Gardens
by Amber "V" Moonstone

When you see your weeds growing,
don't yank them out,
embrace them as a new life,
a sweet reminder that you are alive.
A gray hair,
An ache or pain,
A new hurdle,
are all weeds of our lives.
If we treat them like they don't matter,
we lose sight of our evolution.
We should embrace all the weeds
and look at them as stepping stones.
Color those gray hairs,
walk off those aches and pains,
Jump over all hurdles,
nurture all the weeds in your life!!!

Weeding our gardens is an endless task. A few left
in will hold a plants roots sturdy.
As for the grey. I have an appointment on Monday!
Missed ya, lol

I really love your perspective in this poem about little things that matter.

I thought this as going to be about taking things out, but
it was a nice twist on "Weeds."
As I began reading I thought of the people in our lives who are weed as well, and that lately Val and I have been weeding out "friends" as well who were mostly negative persons. We don't want any negativity in our lives anymore and won't tolerate it in friends or acquaintances.
