Our Story Is Told

Where does time go?
It moves so quickly these days.
Sailing like a speedy boat,
cruising past all life's chapters.
Each chapter has many pages,
Each page is but a moment in our lifetime,
that spills into all the other pages,
that end each chapter.
When those chapters have been fulfilled,
the book is done being written,,
so that you can begin another
beginning to the chapters of a new book.
Each book represents the phases of our lives,
that continue until that final book ends
And our story is
TOLD!

And at a certain age, especially when I finished my autobiography in 2014, I always think each book will be my last. But something keeps telling me to open a new chapter and I begin writing again. And on my last day, I will probably leave an unfinished work in progress.
