This Poem is about a bad choice I made in 4th grade
I was about ten
I wanted to be "normal"
I followed everyone to the bars
It was one hand
Then another
It's not like I knew
It would hurt
I bent my knees
Just a little
So my feet
Would come off the platform
My hands, they started to sweat
I was on those wood chips
No one would let me move
I wanted my mommy
But my dad came
"I want the ring"
It was home on the entertainment center
Nothing went my way that day
"You are not allowed near monkey bars again"

I hope this was not to painful a lesson
