Yes, I believe in Jesus Christ
Just like I believe in the sun
But not because I can see Him
The Bible taught me all He's done

Plus the blessings He's given me
Leaves me no room for any doubt
Not to mention the miracles
Of His love I joyously shout

And even though I'm not worthy
I've a place in Heaven above
Even though I am a sinner
Jesus has cleansed me with His love

No one is saved by doing good
Just those who believe in the Son
It's simply a matter of faith
Believe and our battles are won

We're only made in God's image
Righteousness He did not instill
All He asked was that we obey
And to praise Him, that was His will

Over the years I've learned to trust
As He trusted me to have faith
I praise my Lord everyday
I believed 'fore it was too late

Yes, I believe in Jesus Christ
I believe in The Risen Son
I've a place waiting in Heaven
When my strife on this world is done

Thank You my Lord for loving me
I thank You for Your sacrifice
Your unconditional love has
Taught me not to even think twice

Jesus is the dawn that follows all darkness!
