I am not a George Washington
I'm certainly no Paul Revere
But seeing how our government is
I say we have a whole lot to fear

WE THE PEOPLE aren't in control
That's not how it's supposed to be
Here and now I pledge to change that
I fight for the future's liberty

I won't be doing this for me
For I am getting old and gray
For our children and grandchildren
This Nation under God I pray

It's their future that is at risk
And years ago I swore an oath
To fight injustice everywhere
Yes, foreign and domestic, both!

Our legislature doesn't care
Of their sworn duties they are slack
Time to practice our Constitution
Let's take our America back

This nation does not belong to them
It's WE THE PEOPLE that are the law
They didn't believe we'd rise again
That error will be their fatal flaw

Yet I cannot do this alone
Only a fool would think that way!
So, who will stand with me and fight
Who's ready to swear an oath today?

Representation today's a lie
We see it every day of the week
The boat that we're on is sinking fast
It's time to be strong and fix the leak

Our founding fathers did it before
A Boston tea party by the sea 
Now is the time, we must do it again
WE THE PEOPLE are meant to live free!

Like the Pheonix we'll rise again
Like the rattlesnake we will bite
We're still one nation under God
'Tis God that champions this fight
